Life in Middle
Tennessee
Did you know
Rutherford County has over 250,000 residents? Talk
about growth - when I moved here in 1984, Rutherford
County's population was around 90,000 and Murfreesboro's
population was approximately 40,000.
Believe it or
not, even with all this growth, Rutherford County still has
a 'sense of community'. It's hard to explain; everyone
still seems to know everyone. Even those new to our
community will gladly admit this warmth and kindness when
walking around our Historic Square or shopping at the Avenue
or stopping by the roadside vegetable stand.
Are you looking
for a great location for your family or business?
Rutherford County is hard to beat. Our 250,000
residents are connected to our neighbors in Nashville by the
eight-lane Interstate 24. That means that you are
twenty minutes from the Grand Ole Opry, the Nashville
International Airport, the Vanderbilt Commodores, the
Tennessee Titans, the Nashville Predators and much, much
more.
